Juneyoung Kim
Juneyoung Kim has been practicing patent law for eight years in both the U.S. and South Korea. His experience includes patent drafting and filing, IP counseling, patent infringement, patentability opinion, and trademark filing and registration. He has experience in drafting and prosecuting the Koreans and U.S patent applications in the fields of mechanical, electrical, semiconductor fabrication, consumer electronics, automobiles, civil engineering and software.
Juneyoung has drafted patent applications for South Korean top companies, including LS Industrial Systems Co Ltd, Doosan Corporation and Hyundai MOBIS Co., Ltd.
Juneyoung obtained his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota in 2005. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korean Air Force Academy in 1994 and Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities campus) in 2013.
Juneyoung is licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota, Washington D.C. and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He enjoys communicating with clients and visiting the client’s business facilities to learn more about their products, operation and technologies.
Boram Lee
Boram Lee has joined IPYOUNGLAW since May 2022. From 2013 to 2022, he worked at Samsung Medison Co., Ltd, a global medical equipment company developing premium medical device products and developing novel and advanced technologies.
Mr. Lee graduated from Korea University with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002. He earned his master's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University in 2005.
In his master's thesis, he explored level mode circuits for crossbar switches in NOCs or routers. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) in 2013. As part of his Ph.D. thesis, he designed rail-to-rail amplifiers with low power and low noise for portable electrocardiograms.
He has published several conference papers in IEEE, including ISCAS (2013), EMBC (2013), and ICECS (2011).
